Today Peter Rabbit made a visit to Lewis Ginter. Since Claire has been watching the Peter Rabbit movie at Mimi and Papa's house a lot lately she was really excited to go see him. She kept talking about seeing "Petah" - the movie is narrated by a British person and to her, that is how you say his name!
We met up with my mom there and when we first arrived, Claire gave him the stare-down to decide if she really wanted to sit with him or not.
And then she plopped down right next to him and gave him a couple high-fives.
It was a beautiful day at Lewis Ginter - tons of people came out to enjoy the nice weather and gorgeous flowers. (Claire got lots of compliments on her bunny shirt!)
They even had a bunch of rabbits that the kids could look at and pet. Some of them were SO cute. I wonder what Rob would have thought if I had brought one home for a new pet??
Claire runs around like she owns the place. You can tell she's been many times with Mimi! After running up and down the treehouse several times, I was wiped out and Claire was starting to get cranky. (How do you teach a kid to stop when you say stop?! She would take one look at me, laugh, and keep on running. Makes me understand why some parents use leashes on their kids!)
Mean mommy said no to ice cream and then she really started to lose patience.....it was time to head home. We had a really nice afternoon and I loved getting out to see the Spring gardens. Thanks Mimi!
