Saturday April 2 was the Monument Avenue 10K, nicknamed the RAMpede this year for VCU's mens basketball team who had made it into the Final Four! The game was that night and it was so fun to see Richmond supporting the team in such a huge way. Almost everyone wore gold and black! Luckily, my husband is a VCU alma mater and had several shirts for me to choose from.
This is either my 8th or 9th (?? I've lost track) year running this race and this year I decided to do it with Meredith. We had VIP service and were dropped off right at the starting line. We jog/walked it and had a great time! Mere even got her name called out at the finish line over the loud speaker.
